Edwina Radar Scholarship Application—2012

Bergen/Passaic Nursing Educators (BPNE) is announcing a nursing scholarship in honor of Edwina Radar, a former member of BPNE and leader in nursing who is no longer with us. The scholarship is in the amount of $500.00 and will be awarded at the upcoming BPNE Symposium: Turning the Light on Your Professional Practice for Staff Nurses. The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize a RN who is enrolled in a RN-BSN program who exemplifies nursing leadership. To receive an application, please contact your hospital representative listed below.

Application Requirements:

1. Applicant must be a RN from a BPNE member hospital and employed there for a minimum of 12 months.
   The applicant may not be an active BPNE committee member.
2. Must be enrolled in a RN-BSN nursing program.
3. GPA must be a 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
4. All parts of application must be received by April 1,2012.
      Must be able to attend the BPNE Leadership symposium on April 25, 2012 at Chilton Hospital to receive award.
